After 10 years together to the day, Lauren and Blair were married a couple weeks back in an emotional, and very heartfelt ceremony in the Shell Theatre at the Dow Centennial Center. Dance has been a big part of Lauren's life, so it was only fitting that these two were wed on the stage, in front of friends and family. Emotions were high from the start, when Lauren walked in the theatre in a beautiful, custom made, yellow wedding gown. Blair looked on, with tears of happiness rolling down his cheeks......(of course, I was crying too!) After exchanging their own personal, incredibly beautiful vows to one another, Lauren's bridesmaid graced the stage and performed a dance solo in honor of Lauren and Blair.
The most amazing thing about this wedding is everything that was planned, meant something to them, from the perfect location(s) to take some photos to the chocolate fondue instead of a wedding cake. If it was tradition and held no significance to them, they steered clear.
Every detail was about making it "their" day - a unique and memorable event.....
It was such a gorgeous day and to be in the presence of two people so much in love was a complete pleasure. We had lots of time to do photos and we took full advantage of that -- we hit tons of locations. We had a blast from morning to night -- and what a reception -- we could've stayed and partied with these guys all night!!
Here are some photos from our day!
We ended off the afternoon at the golf course, where Blair had once worked. He was completely comfortable there and we had so much fun!
You guys are so fantastic - I wish you tons of happiness!!!
xoxo
